Sometimes, the one of the only barriers to success can be the lack of a high school diploma or GED. YouthBuild helps young adults ages 16-24 obtain their

high school diploma or GED, while earning a stipend and learning construction trades skills that are in high demand.

Graduation from Community Actions Agency’s YouthBuild program is a path to an apprenticeship program.  In today’s work place, an apprenticeship is a combination of on the job-training, coursework and mentoring while earning a wage. Yes, working while learning.
