Hillsdale College Kappa Kappa Gamma Visits Head Start

December 11th, Hillsdale College Kappa Kappa Gamma stopped by the Hillsdale Community Action Agency offices.  It was a snowy day and a welcome visit for the Head Start classrooms. The students and staff from the Hedgehog and Hamster classrooms gathered in the gymnasium to welcome Kappa Kappa Gamma.  Soon, the sorority and students were matched together. The Kappa Kappa Gamma members began reading to the children. Some children began reading to the members. The gym was filled with laughter and the stories of Tom Sawyer, Fairy Tea Party, and I Love You More.

The books were collected when the sorority chapter held a book drive so that they could share the joy of reading with the Head Start student. Kappa Kappa Gamma was the first national Greek sorority at Hillsdale College in 1881.
